As a television personality and supermodel, Heidi Klum is no stranger to the spotlight or needing to be camera-ready at all times. In case you missed it, the former “America’s Got Talent” judge and returning “Project Runway” host recently stunned at this year’s Met Gala in a custom, floor-length gown. That’s why the 51-year-old’s recent partnership with PosheEra, a grooming brand she said is helping to make shaving on the go easier, is so fitting.
As Klum explained to CNN Underscored in an exclusive interview, part of what makes the razor so great is its ability to be used at any time — a complete game changer when you’re as busy as the multi-hyphenate. “It changes the way of shaving because you can have this in the car, in your purse and you [can] pop it out and just shave,” Klum said. “Because you can shave with it wet or dry, you can literally be lying in bed watching TV and shaving because you don’t need water, you don’t need cream, you don’t need anything.”
Ahead, we asked Klum, who is also a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, all about her other favorite beauty products, including the skin and hair care products she swears by.
For a smooth shave, Klum whips out her PosheEra electric razor, which can be used in or out of the shower. Its long, ergonomic handle allows you to shave your legs with ease, making it a great option for those with mobility issues. It also features a pivoting head that allows the razor to move across your body’s curves without irritating the skin. To achieve a closer shave, the brand recommends using this razor with shaving cream. In addition to a three-foil shave head, the kit also includes a five-foil version, so you can pick what will work best for your needs.
Suitable for even the most sensitive skin, the L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell-Renewal Midnight Cream is a staple in Klum’s beauty routine, and it’s no wonder why. The lightweight, antioxidant-rich moisturizer is formulated with ingredients like shea butter and vitamin E to help firm the skin, repair the skin barrier and boost radiance. Though it can be used with other skin care products outside of the Age Perfect collection, it pairs perfectly with another one of Klum’s essentials, the Age Perfect Cell-Renewal Midnight Serum.
Klum is also a fan of this detangling brush from Sheila Stotts. Featuring a drainage hole that allows you to expel excess water if you’re using the brush in the shower, it has eleven rows of metal bristles that gently detangle hair. It also has a cushioned plastic handle that makes it comfortable to use.
To care for her hair, Klum relies on this shampoo and conditioner duo. Specially formulated for dry or colored hair, the two products work to leave your mane soft, bouncy and shiny. We love that the rosemary formulas are made without sulfates, parabens and phthalates. We also appreciate that they have a floral and citrus fragrance that features rose, bergamot and musk.
Klum singles out the Lucas' Papaw Lip Treatment as one of her must-have beauty products. The Australian-made, multi-purpose ointment can be used to soothe everything from cracked lips to sunburns thanks to its nourishing formula.
When asked about her beauty essentials, Klum didn’t hesitate to mention this anti-aging facial serum. Formulated with vitamin E and hyaluronic acid to minimize the appearance of wrinkles, it can be used in the morning and at night daily. Plus, it won’t clog pores or feel greasy on the skin.
